As a non-profit foundation, the Fondazione Lavizzara has been working tirelessly for the preservation of natural and traditional cultural assets in Ticino’s Lavizzara Valley since it was founded in 2005. Species-rich mountain meadows, healthy protective forests, safe hiking trails and characteristic stone houses – all of this threatens to disappear today if we don’t act now!
